Piece pickups help a studio with pieces created at one time events or classes. It can help collect contact information and automatically notify people when pieces are ready. This might be a special event like a studio night or party or a one time class. This is different from our “Piece Tracking and Firing Fee" functionality because people who attend do not have to create a login to the Kiln Fire app but they can use a simple public form to submit a piece for firing and pay if needed. As a studio, this can be a helpful way to track their piece and notify them multiple times when their piece is ready for pickup, hopefully getting you back valuable shelf space in your studio!
