Class Waivers

When and how class waivers are collected throughout the class registration process:

After Class Registration

The first time a class attendee would have an opportunity to sign your class waiver would be the success screen after submitting their online registration. This is a landing page on their web browser once class registration is complete.

Class Registration Email

An option to complete waiver will also be included in the initial email they receive immediately upon registration. This goes to all participants who register with an email address.

Class Reminder Email

They have another opportunity to complete waiver in the Reminder email that goes out to each participant 24 hours* before a class begins (only if they haven't signed yet).

Check In

If a participant still has not signed waiver by the time they arrive to class, you can use Class Check in screen (Check ins > Check In Page > Class Participants). When they click their name to mark attendance and they haven't yet signed the waiver, they are asked to jump over to the Waiver and sign it then.

Optional: QR Code

You could also utilize a QR code to collect any missing waivers when they arrive for class. Find the Public Link by going to Classes > Waivers > Public Link and create a QR code to display at front desk or have a tablet with Waiver screen displayed.

Misc Notes

  • We do not ever include waiver before actual registration because other adults cannot legally sign for other adults, and it could drastically impact conversion rate of attendees actually completing registration purchase for your studio.
  • Instructors can check the class registration screen to see which participants have already completed waiver and those who still need to (it shows up as a field under Attendees)
  • Instructors can also click into Waivers page to manually search a particular participant to check on waiver status
