People can interact with your Kiln Fire studio app in a variety of ways. Users are people at your studio who have a login to the Kiln Fire app using email address and password. A person would need to be a user to:
- pay firing fees
- be a studio member
- make reservations
- receive studio perks
Users can also register for classes and purchase supplies.
Kiln Fire Use Without Users
Classes:
The class functionality does not automatically create each participant as a Kiln Fire user. A studio can send out a Public Class Page where people can register for classes without becoming a Kiln Fire user (having to create a login). In the Kiln Fire app click on Classes > Manage Classes. When you click on the class you have created, you have the option to click the Public Class Page link.
Public Supplies Link:
A studio can also send out a public supplies link. In the Kiln Fire app click on Supplies > Manage Supplies. You will then see a Public Supplies link that can be sent to anyone, including people who are not Kiln Fire users.
One Time Class Pickups:
At a one night class a studio can send or show a QR code for a public piece collection link for piece pickups. In the Kiln Fire app click on Pickups > Manage Pickups > Collect Pieces. You will then see a QR code that can be shared with anyone, including people who are not Kiln Fire users.
